What Is the ECO4 Scheme?

The ECO4 (Energy Company Obligation) Scheme is designed to help households improve their energy efficiency, especially homes that are harder to heat or where the occupants are on certain income related benefits.

If your home has a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, or you receive qualifying benefits, you may be eligible to have a heat pump and other energy saving upgrades installed at little or no cost to you.

You may qualify for ECO4 support if:

• You receive certain government benefits such as Universal Credit or Income Support
• Your home has a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating (typically D or lower)
• You meet income-based or other qualifying criteria
